For art’s sake

A colleague of mine passed along information about an interesting new Internet TV show. It’s called “For Art’s Sake,” and you can view it here.

It’s created by Lori Apthorpe of Los Angeles, who won a contest to produce the show for Austin, Texas-based ON Networks.

Featured artists include Peter Zokosky of Long Beach; painter and collector F. Scott Hess, who had a cool show a few years back at the Orange County Museum of Art; comic artist Patrick Atangan; and sculptor John Frame.

Apparently, you can download some of these segments onto your iPod or iPhone. But I haven’t figured out how to do that yet.

Check it out… and let me know what you think.
