The 2008 Drama League Awards were presented today at New York’s Marriott Marquis Hotel. Harvey Fierstein hosted the shindig, and whaddya know? His much-criticized musical, “A Catered Affair,” snagged a prize for Distinguished Production of a Musical. You might remember a certain, um, Vesuvian reaction on Mr. Fierstein’s part to a particularly negative review of his precious musical in the LA Times.  Details of the awards ceremony here.
