Adam Rapp’s “Nocturne” opens at Santa Ana’s Rude Guerrilla Theater Company on Aug. 2. It’s rare that O.C. gets to see the work of Rapp, an edgy and talented playwright whose reputation back East has been on the rise for several years. He was working on a script at Connecticut’s O’Neill Center when I was at there for the 2003 theater critic’s session, and that reading was one of the summer’s high points. Details here.
