Don’t forget — Broadway legend Stephen Schwartz is performing this weekend (Oct. 2-5) at the Orange County Performing Arts Center’s Samueli Theater.

In “ Stephen Schwartz and Friends,” Schwartz, the Grammy® and Oscar®-winning composer-lyricist, performs with an impressive line-up of pals, including Broadway stars Liz Callaway, Scott Coulter and Debbie Gravitte.

They’ll perform songs from such Schwartz musicals “Wicked,” “Pippin” and “Godspell.”

According to the Center, “This revue show is a special and rare treat for audiences to hear works performed by their creator. In combinations of solos, duets, trios and all-together-nows, this talented group will present a selection of Schwartz’s most memorable songs including ‘Colors of the Wind,’ ‘Defying Gravity’ and ‘Corner of the Sky.’

The performances on October 2 – 4 start at 7:30 p.m. and at 7 p.m. on October 5.
