Arts Orange County appoints new development director

Arts Orange County, the nonprofit arts council for our region, has appointed Jon M. Wagner as its new director of development.

Wagner comes to Arts Orange County from the Fullerton Historic Theatre Foundation, where he has served as executive director since 2005.

Wagner has 15 years of experience as a development officer in Orange County arts organizations. Previously, he served for four years as director of develoment for the Laguna Playhouse, where he worked closely with then-executive director Richard Stein, who’s now Arts Orange County’s executive director (since August).

Wagner has also held fund raising positions at Saint Joseph’s Ballet and the Orange County Performing Arts Center.

He holds a certified fund raising professional credential from the Association of Fund Raising Professionals. Wagner and his wife Nancy are residents of Yorba Linda.
