
Merce Cunningham, the legendary American choreographer and also a very talented dancer, died Sunday night in Manhattan. He was 90.
Cunningham has been hailed as the world’s greatest choreographer. Over seven decades, he presented dozens of ground-breaking productions and collaborated with many accomplished artists, including his life partner John Cage and visual artist Robert Rauschenberg.
