Frank Wildhorn’s new musical about the exploits of Bonnie and Clyde made an underwhelming world premiere last weekend in La Jolla.

    From Jekyll & Hyde to Bonnie & Clyde, I’ve just never understood the appeal of Wildhorn’s work.
